Technology for businesses in Southern California

Tell us what you're trying to do.

Websites, custom software, AI automation, cybersecurity, marketing and security planning. You describe the goal and the headache. We figure out the technology — and explain it in plain English the whole way.

  • Custom-built. No packages.
  • Plain English, start to finish.
  • A real reply from Habib, not a bot.

Start with the problem.

No technical words needed. Describe it the way you'd tell a friend — Habib reads every form himself.

One sentence is plenty. “Not sure” is a perfectly good answer.
Phone or email — at least one, so we can reach you.
A rough range helps us suggest the right size of project. Nothing is locked in.
How should we reach you first?

Habib reads every form himself and replies within a business day or two — a real reply, not a bot.

Sound familiar?

You don't have to name the technology. Find the sentence that sounds like you.

I lose customers when I can't answer the phone.

We set up automatic text-backs and follow-ups so nobody slips away while you're working.

Cybersecurity

What we do

Six ways in. One way of working: around your problem, not our product.

Every project is custom. There are no Bronze, Silver or Gold packages — you get a written plan with a price and a timeline for the thing you actually need.

Websites & web apps

Custom-coded, hosted, handled

A custom-built website that looks premium, loads fast, and brings in customers.

  • A site written and coded for your business — not a template with your logo dropped in.
  • Hosting, updates and fixes handled by us, so you never touch the back end.
  • Online tools your customers actually use: booking, quotes, customer portals, and apps people pay monthly to use.

Also called: custom web development, web design, website hosting, web applications, SaaS development (a web app your customers pay to use).

Custom software

Built around how your business runs

Software built around how your business actually works — not the other way around.

  • One app for your jobs, customers, invoices and schedule — like the shop-management system we built for an auto repair shop.
  • Internal tools for your staff: dashboards, order tracking, inventory, approvals, customer records.
  • A plan for how all your systems fit together as you grow, so nothing has to be rebuilt later.

Also called: custom software development, business applications, internal systems, CRM (the tool that tracks your leads and customers), enterprise technology architecture (the blueprint for how a company's systems connect).

AI & automation

Less busywork, lower costs

We find the repetitive work in your day and hand it to software.

  • Missed calls get a text back, web forms get answered, follow-ups go out — without you lifting a finger.
  • Invoices, reminders, reports and data entry that run on their own.
  • A custom AI assistant set up for your business that answers common questions, sorts requests, or drafts replies for you to approve.

Also called: AI automation (AI = artificial intelligence: software that can read, write, sort and answer on its own), workflow automation, custom AI agents, AI integrations.

Cybersecurity & data protection

Find the weak spots first

Find the weak spots before someone else does, and keep customer data private.

  • A plain-English check-up of your accounts, devices, website and Wi-Fi, with a fix-it list ranked by what matters most.
  • Authorized testing where we try to get in the way an attacker would, then show you exactly what we found — only with your written permission, and only where the law allows.
  • Help protecting customer information, meeting privacy rules, and getting alerted automatically when something looks wrong.

Also called: cybersecurity audit, vulnerability assessment (a scan for weak spots), penetration testing (an authorized, simulated break-in), data protection, information privacy, security automation.

Marketing & growth

Show up when people search

Show up when people search for what you do, and turn visitors into customers.

  • Set up your site so Google — and now AI assistants — list you when people ask for what you offer.
  • Help launching your first ads with a budget you control and results you can read.
  • Business listings, reviews and social pages set up right for a new business.

Also called: digital marketing, SEO (search engine optimization: getting found on Google), AI search optimization (showing up in answers from AI assistants), advertising support.

Security planning

Cameras, alarms, door access, guard coverage — planned right

“I want to protect my shop without becoming a security expert.” A clear plan for protecting your building, your people and your stock.

  • A walk-through of your location by someone with hands-on guard, alarm-sales and loss-prevention experience.
  • A written plan for cameras, alarms, door access and guard coverage that fits your budget — in language you can hand to any vendor.
  • We spell out how the pieces should work together — cameras that alert your phone, doors tied to staff accounts — and coordinate with licensed alarm installers and guard companies so they deliver exactly that.

Also called: security assessment, security consulting, camera (CCTV) system design, alarm system design, access control (who can open which doors, and when).

Offered in California. Alarm installation, monitoring and guard staffing are performed by licensed providers, who contract with you directly. J4 DIGITAL does the planning, design and coordination.

Selected work

Real businesses, real problems, built and shipped.

Websites first, then the software and AI work behind the scenes. More projects are added as clients say yes to being shown.

Auto-shop estimate assistant

A repair shop was losing hours a day looking up parts, pricing jobs and writing estimates by hand. Now the shop texts the job, and an AI assistant researches it, prices the parts and drafts the estimate.

About J4

Most business owners don't need to understand technology. They need someone who does — and who will explain it plainly.

I'm Habib Jahshan. The J in J4 is my last name. The 4 is my family: my mom, my sister, my late father and me. We're the kids of Palestinian refugees who moved from place to place before settling in Los Angeles, and I was the first in my family to go to college.

Before technology, I spent more than ten years in hospitality. That's where I learned to listen to people and take care of them. Later I worked in a security operations center — the team that watches a company's systems for attacks around the clock — and built websites and custom software for small businesses, including the shop-management system an auto repair shop runs on today.

I started J4 DIGITAL for the owner who hears “AI” and “search engine optimization” and wants to look the other way. You won't have to. You tell me what you're trying to do. I'll help you get there, and I'll stay with you the whole way.
